FIB 2026 World Championship Men A and Women A will be held in the city of Pori (Björneborg) in Finland.
Pori is situated 140 kilometer north of Turku (Åbo).

Last time the World Champinship Men A was held in Finland was 2001. 25 years have passed in 2026. The host cities at that time were Oulu (Uleåborg) and Tornio. The games in Tornio were played on the Swedish side of the boarder at Gränsvallen in Haparanda. Raksila artificial ice rink was the game arena in Oulu. Seven countries participated in the tournament; Sweden, Russia, Finland, Norway, Kazakhstan, USA and Belarus.
Russia won the Gold at that time after beating Sweden in the final 6-1. Finland won the bronze game after a victory 3-2 against Kazakhstan.
