This Classic World Cup tournament, also called Mini World Cup, has been a long time baby for Bollnäs GIF. But after last tournament Bollnäs left as organizer. Now the tournament instead moves to the indoor Kronfågel Ice Arena in Katrineholm, Sweden. Katrineholm is situated 150 km southwest of the capital Stockholm. Local host for the tournament is Katrineholm Bandy.
Last season the winning club was Villa Lidköping who beat Edsbyn in a tight final game that ended 3-2.
The 2025 tournament will include 10 teams from Finland, Norway and Sweden.
