This World Cup tournament was played 2-4 January 2025. The organizers were the Swedish Bandy Association and Tellus Bandy. The tournament was held in Gubbängens indoor arena in Stockholm.

Stockholm is also the home city of Hammarby Bandy, which plays in both the men’s and women’s top series Elitserien. Djurgården’s IF plays in the men’s second highest series, the Bandyallsvenskan. On that level is also the women’s club Hammarby Bandyförening.
