Not even blessed Alfred Hitchcock could have composed a more nerve-wracking ending of this weekend’s World Championship decider for men and women in Pori, Finland. Now only two semi-finals remain in each tournament this Saturday and then the final and bronze match x 2 on Sunday.
In the men’s tournament, Finland created a really exciting final part of the World Championship tournament. By beating Sweden in the last game in the preliminary round will get a completely crowded arena on Sunday when the final is played. We can not imagine that the home team in Pori will miss this chance to beat USA in the semifinal and once more will be able to give the Swedish team a match for the gold in the final. It would be a huge surprise if Norway destroy the final plans for Sweden in their semfinal.
In the women’s tournament there is a final nerve-wracking game left in the semifinals. After the Swedes have advance to the final quite easy against Finland there will be an exciting semifinal between Norway and USA. Norway beat United States in the preliminary round, but we are not sure it will be as easy in the semifinal.
