Janet Duke Completes International Clean Sport Educator Program

The Federation of International Bandy (FIB) is pleased to announce that Janet Duke, member of the FIB Education and Development Committee representing Germany, has successfully completed the International Clean Sport Educator (ICSE) Program, offered by the International Testing Agency (ITA).
Participation in the ICSE Program marks an important step for FIB in strengthening its clean sport and anti-doping education framework. The internationally certified program equips educators with the knowledge and tools needed to deliver high-quality, Code-compliant clean sport education. The curriculum covers key topics such as the values of clean sport, consequences of doping, the Prohibited List, Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs), testing pools, and whereabouts regulations. A strong focus is placed on how to effectively communicate these topics to different target groups, including athletes of various ages, coaches, parents, and other support personnel.

By completing the program, Janet Duke becomes the first certified Clean Sport Educator within FIB, enabling the federation to expand its education activities. In the coming period, FIB plans to integrate clean sport education into its development initiatives, including online sessions for players and coaches, as part of a broader and more structured education pathway.
-The course was comprehensive and very informative. I was especially impressed by how important it is to involve support staff and parents, and to begin educating athletes at an earlier age. This is something we definitely want to focus on in FIB’s future anti-doping and clean sport education activities,” says Janet Duke, FIB Education and Development Committee.
“Having a certified Clean Sport Educator within the FIB Education and Development Committee is a major step forward. Janet’s qualification allows us to raise the quality and consistency of clean sport education across the bandy community and to embed these principles into our long-term development programs for athletes and coaches,”
says
Mikhail Entaltsev, Chair of the FIB Education and Development Committee.
FIB congratulates Janet Duke on this achievement and looks forward to further strengthening clean sport education within international bandy.
