SWEDEN WON 3 NATIONS CUP!

Sweden won the training tournament “3 Nations Cup” with focus on the World Championship in Finland in the middle of January 2026. Sweden, Finland and Norway met in Uppsala, Sweden.

SWEDEN-NORWAY 7-2 (3-1) 
Sweden won both games against Norway and Finland. The team beat Norway in the first game Friday 7-2 after 3-1 after first half at Studenternas outdoor arena. Norway kept the game going well during the first half but during the second half Sweden took over the game and dominated quite clearly. Erik Pettersson was the top scorer for Sweden with 3 goals, two penalty strokes and one corner shot. Best scorer for Norway was Tobias Mofjel who scored both goals for the team.
SWEDEN-FINLAND 7-4 (3-3)
The first half was very even and 3-3 after 45 minutes at Studenternas outdoor arena. A lot of things happened, both positive and negative. Sweden had the lead 2-0 and 3-2 until Finland made the result even in the first half. In the end om the first half, Tukka Ässämäki in Finland was responsible for a tough cross checking that gave him a direct match penalty. Finland could not stand up against Sweden in the second half with one man less so Sweden took a pretty convincing victory. Best goal scorers Viktor Spångberg and Erik Pettersson 2 goal each for Sweden.
FINLAND-NORWAY 7-0 (3-0)
Finland had no problem to defete Norway in the last game on Sunday. The game was played in Serwent indoor arena, also in Uppsala. The victory 7-0 was clear and quite easy. Niklas Holopainen the best goal scorer in this game with 3 goals. One corner shot, one penalty stroke and one playing goal was his result from the last game in the tournament.
This was a training tournament ahead of the World Championships that will be held in Pori, Finland between 12 and 18 January.
