LAS VEGAS BANDY INVITATIONAL ONGOING!

The 2025 Las Vegas Tournament started on Wednesday 28 May. And it was history made at once. Two teams from Las Vegas became the first teams outside Minnesota to meet in an official bandy tournament in 45 years. The teams were Bandy Club Las Vegas and the Center Ice Hockey, and the BCLV won the premiere game 13-6.

Most valuable Player was the teenager Mattox McCauley. There are six participating teams in the tournament. These two from Las Vegas, two from Minnesota, one from Sweden and one called World All Star team. The preliminary round is played Wednesday-Friday this week, 29-30 May. The final game on Saturday 1 June.

LAS VEGAS TV COVERS THE TOURNAMENT
The local ABC affiliate KTNV television sports department covered the opening match of the 2025 Las Vegas Invitational Tournament on Wednesday. Top sports reporter Alex Eschelman interviewed several players and had the film crew out for the first match between BCLV and Centre Ice Hockey BC. The great media coverage is a testament to all the hard work put in to grow the sport both locally and internationally.
