Quite intensive preparatory work is currently underway where various options are being explored, but we can expect decisions on where and how the tournaments will be carried out quite soon. Last season Men A and Women were played in Sparbanken Lidköping Arena in Sweden and Men B was held also in Sweden, in the city of Uppsala and Serwent indoor Arena.
Sweden won the both tournaments in Lidköping and the Netherlands turned champion for Men Group B in Uppsala.
  • World Championship Men 17 and Men 19
Both tournaments will be held in Norway and the Norwegian Bandy Federation is planning for two nice events outdoors. Sweden won both trophies in Göransson Arena in Sandviken last season and Hungary participated for the first time in Men 19.
  • World Championship Women 17
This tournament was held in Trollhättan last season with Sweden as champion after a final victory against Finland. The Swedish Bandy Association will host the tournament again, but the venue is not yet decided, but it will be probably in February.
  • World Cup Club teams Men 17 and 19
Gubbängen Ice Skating & Bandy Arena is the place again in Stockholm on 2-6 January. The invitation to these tournaments will be sent out to all FIB Member Associations shortly.
  • World Cup Club teams Women 17.
This tournament will start on 7 November with final on 9 November in Mölndal/Gothenburg as last season. Västerås SK is now reigning World Cup Champion.
