FIB and the Swedish Bandy Association are in grief. Staffan Söderlund was important for bandy, both nationally and internationally. Staffan has unfortunately passed away a few days ago after a short illness.
Staffan Söderlund was a great leader in both the FIB and the Swedish Bandy Association. He was not only a great  leader. He was a great man. He was warm, humble, diplomatic and eloquent. He always met people with a smile on his face. A role model who had a huge importance to the development of international bandy.
As recently as during the World Championship in Lidköping, he was among the four legends who were awarded the first FIB Hall of Fame.
