FIB ATHLETES COMMITTEE ELECTED BY THE ATHLETES!
FIB Athletes Committee elected by the Athletes – For the first time!
As part of its governance reform, the Federation of International Bandy (FIB) announced the results of the Athletes Committee elections, where the members were elected directly by the Athletes participated at all the 2025 FIB World Championships, Men A and B groups and Women.
The election took place in 2 phases at the 2 tournaments and the combined results were announced at the 2025 FIB Congress, held

during the 2025 FIB World Championships in Lidkoping, Sweden. Positions were available for minimum 2 members representing both genders and from different Member Associations.
The elected members of the FIB Athletes Committee are:•

The members of the Athletes Committee will now elect the Chair and Vice Chair among themselves, ensuring full independence. The Chair will automatically be a full member of the FIB Executive Committee, representing all the Athletes worldwide at the highest level.
FIB HALL OF FAME
The inaugural FIB Hall of Fame inductions were also made during the FIB Congress and the below individuals were awarded for their exceptional contribution to the sport of bandy and FIB:

THE FIB 70 YEARS
FIB; celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, distributed a commemorative medal for all Member Associations participating in the FIB Congress.
-I am extremely proud and happy to see that while FIB is continuously improving on governance – providing direct representation to our Athletes, the sport is also growing globally – with the first ever participation of the German women team, said Attila Adamfi, FIB General Secretary.
