The Federation of International Bandy (FIB) is proud to announce the launch of its new and improved website, designed to provide better service to its stakeholders and reinforce the organization’s commitment to transparency and open communication.
The revamped platform introduces a range of features aimed at improving the user experience for athletes, teams, officials, fans, and other members of the global bandy community. This milestone reflects the Federation’s ongoing efforts to modernize its digital infrastructure and create a hub for all things bandy.
In line with the FIB’s commitment to good governance, the website includes a dedicated section for governance documents, meeting minutes, financial reports, and other key organizational updates.
Everything will be visible on the website, even the enthusiastic people working within FIB, regardless of if it is committee members or co-workers in the office in the different areas of FIB operations. Visibility and openness are key words.
The website is in line with the modernization of the organization. A strategic working group has already started where the focus is on development aiming for 2034. Last year several important parts of the business have been developed. A new media platform, “FIB TV”, has been created on the website. FIB TV already includes a video archive where all our tournaments are continuously uploaded to be able to watch. The other part of FIB TV is a completely new live platform where all FIB World Championships and World Cups for club teams will be webcast live.
This last summer, the FIB also launched the Tournament History that gives a rich content in text and images from the history of bandy and the history of FIB. But it also includes the text and photo archive of most of the tournaments since the first World Championship in 1957. That archive is continuously replenished when new material is developed.
– We are excited to unveil a digital platform that aligns with the Federation’s values of inclusivity, transparency, and excellence,” said Attila Adamfi, General Secretary of the FIB.
-This website is more than just a facelift – it represents a step forward in how we connect with our stakeholders and grow the sport on a global scale.
