FIB is proud to announce that the city of Uppsala and IFK Uppsala has been selected as host of the FIB 2025 World Championships Men Group B. The competition will be held between 10-14 March 2025 in the Serwent Indoor Arena.
-We are delighted to announce that IFK Uppsala will once again host a major bandy event. We are sure that IFK Uppsala with its proud bandy tradition will organise a fantastic championship for players, referees, audience but also for the city of Uppsala. We look forward to the championship with great confidence, said Henrik Nilsson, FIB President.

-As a club with a strong and long-standing history in bandy, we are honored to be entrusted with organizing this championship, where teams from all over the world will compete for the glory and the opportunity to move up to the A group. We are confident that this event will promote the sport both locally and internationally and strengthen the bonds between nations, continued Per Agius.

Women and Men World Championships Group A will be organised also in Sweden, hosted by Villa Lidköping BK, between 25-30 March 2025.
The most recent World Championships were held in 2023 in Åby outside Växjö, and Sweden is the reigning World Champion on both the Women’s and Men’s side.
Hungary won World Championship Men Group B 2023, Hungary beat Germany 2-1 in that final.
