World Championship x 2 in Sandviken, Sweden!

Sweden will be the dominating country for international bandy the coming season 2024-2025. The venue for World Championships Men Group A and Women will be Sparbanken Lidköping Arena in Lidköping, 25-30 March 2025. That was decided earlier in an agreement between FIB and the Swedish Bandy Federation. It is also decided that World Championship Men Group B will be held in Sweden. But place and date is not yet decided by FIB.

Now we can inform that the two World Championships for youth teams, Boys 17 and Boys 19, will he played in Sandviken, Sweden. The venue will be Göransson Indoor Arena. That arena has earlier held a World Championship. It was World Championship Men Group A in 2017. 

The both World Championships for Boys 17 and Boys 19 will be held at the same time, 17-19 January 2025.

2024 Finland won the World Championship Boys 17 when the tournament was held in Mikkeli, Finland. Sweden won the World Championship Boys 19 2024 in Oslo. The final in Mikkeli was very dramatic and was decided after Golden Goal 3 minutes in the extra time. Happy goldscorer was Oskari Kokko.

The final in Oslo was not that even when Sweden beat Norway in the final 11-6.
