2018 FIB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WOMEN

Chengde, China, 9-13 January



This World Championship was the ninth. The tournament was played on natural ice on a lake at the Summer Residence in Chengde. Estonia and Switzerland made their World Championship debut.

Sweden became World Champion after final victory against Russia. The final game got only one goal.

The eight teams were divided into two pools. The top three teams in Pool A advanced to the semifinals, while the fourth in Pool A played a playoff against the first in Pool B for the last semifinal spot.
