2011 FIB WORLD CUP MEN

Sandviken, Sweden, 13-16 October

This was the third tournament that was decided in Sandviken. The plan had earlier been that the tournament should move back to Ljusdal this year. But there was never any indoor arena built so the tournament stayed in Sandviken until further notice.

Sandvikens AIK played in Group B and did not lose a single game. Sandviken won against Kuzbass 4-1 and played a draw against Sirius 2-2. In the last game Sandviken won against SKA Neftyanik 6-5.
