Misja Pashkin takes over as coach of Kazan Ak Bars-Dynamo. Misja Pashkin led Jenisej, who last season became Russian champions after a final victory against Dynamo Moscow 4-2. After that, Pashkin took over the role of head coach for the Swedish elite team AIK, but that stay was very short. In July, he unexpectedly dropped out of that assignment.
Yesterday he was presented as the new head coach of the Kazan Super League team in Russia. He takes over the job from former coach Alexander Epifanov who got off to an unfortunate start to the season with the team. After four rounds in the Russian Super League, Kazan Ak Bars-Dynamo has zero points.
Misja Pashkin is now in Kazan. He was introduced to the players yesterday and today he is doing his first training session for his new club. Tomorrow, Kazan Ak Bars-Dynamo will play its fifth match in the series when they meet Volga from Ulyanovsk at home in Kazan. Volga has so far taken two victories in their three matches.
