FIB Executive Committee elected!

Boris Skrynnik, FIB President

Boris Skrynnik is re-elected as President of Federation of International Bandy for 4 new years. Mr Skrynnik has been President since 2005.

-I want to express my appreciation and want to thank the FIB national member federations for continued shown confidence. I look forward to positive and exciting cooperation.

-FIB should be a strong and creative force to further develop the sport around the world and reach even more people who become interested in bandy, as participants or spectators, says Boris Skrynnik after the election.


THE ELECTED EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The congress of the Federation of International Bandy was to be held in Irkutsk in connection with the World Championship, but was postponed to October, just like the tournament. In order to keep the schedule for the financial year, FIB has chosen to conduct the elections for Executive Committee by e-mail among all congressional representatives and the election ended on Wednesday, First of April. Other items on the agenda is addressed to the congress in October.

The election of the Executive Committee was made unanimously among the representatives.

Stig Bertilsson has been 1st Vice President of FIB. As he has resigned as chairman of the Swedish Bandy Federation, he is also replaced as FIB 1st Vice President by his successor Per-Anders Gustavsson.

The other vice presidents were re-elected for 4 years. These are Arne Anderstedt, Attila Adamfi, Evgeny Epifanov, Vadim Grishpun, Stein Pedersen, Leo Segerman, Magnus Sköld and Zhu Zhiqiang.
