TEAM FIB WINNER OF OLD BOYS WORLD CUP!

The winner of Old Boys World Cup is Team FIB, representing Federation of International Bandy, and the team was really international with players from several countries.

In the final Team FIB defeated Hammarby from Sweden 4-1 after half time 3-1. The great player of the final was Ivan Maximov with all 4 goals for Team FIB.

Team FIB went to the final game after a victory against Murmansk 5-2 in the semi finals and Hammarby beat Krasnoyarsk 3-1 in the semi finals.

In the group stage Team FIB won Group B and won all the group games against Syktyvkar 14-1, Hammarby 3-1, St. Petersburg 7-3 and Kharkov 13-4. In the group stage Hammarby lost one game against Team FIB 1-3 but won the games against Kharkov 15-0, Syktyvkar 11-0 and St. Petersburg 9-0.

Krasnoyarsk took the bronze medals in the tournament. The bronze game became a Russian meeting where Krasnoyarsk met Murmansk. Krasnoyarsk won Group A in the group games after four straight wins against Murmansk 1-0, Korolyov 10-0, Moscow 6-0 and Veiterä 7-0. In the semi-finals, Krasnoyarsk was beaten by Hammarby with 1-3. Murmansk finished second team in Group A and was beaten by Krasnoyarsk with 0-1 but won over Moscow 8-1, Veiterä 9-3 and Korolyov 9-1.
