The upcoming international bandy season is fast approaching. Two World Cup tournaments for youth club teams are just around the corner. The FIB World Cup for Men 16 and Women 17 are the first events of this season. Both tournaments will be broadcast live, giving you the option to watch individual matches or the entire tournament.

WORLD CUP CLUB TEAMS – MEN 16

This is the longest-running international bandy tournament, currently overseen by the FIB. It began in 1986 in Bollnäs, Sweden, where it has been held for the vast majority of the years. The tournament has also been hosted in Vetlanda, and as of 2025, it is taking place in Katrineholm.
The reigning champion, as of 2025, is IFK Vänersborg.

WORLD CUP CLUB TEAMS – WOMEN 17

The event will be held in the same two indoor arenas as last year: Åby Ice Stadium in Mölndal and Ruddalen Ice Hall in Gothenburg. The reigning champion, from last year, is Västerås SK.

The game schedules are decided and in total 16 teams from Norway, Finland and Sweden are preparing for these big events.
