The FIB EC held its first meeting following the summer break on 15 September 2026.
Among other matters, the EC discussed and made decision in the following items:
Following the resignation of the FIB President and in accordance with the FIB Statutes – the EC decided to hold election for the FIB President position at the next Ordinary Congress in 2027,  preferably during the first quarter of the year. Further details regarding the date, time and location of the Congress will be announced in due course. FIB members will subsequently receive all necessary information concerning the nomination process.
The EC also reviewed the composition of the FIB Committees and approved the necessary amendments to ensure that all Committees can operate effectively and contribute to the development of FIB.
