BANDYPLAYERS AND GOLFERS = A REAL AND EVERLASTING LOVE!

If there is any headline that is 100% true, I think this one at least qualifies in that catergory. Can it be the ball and the bended stick that is similar? Even if they are not exactly bended in the same way. Or can it be the simular skills you get in practising both sports. I am quite sure about that. But it could also be a way to spend time together during off-season.
Today we publish a long time example of it. The example is from Sweden, but could probably come from any bandy country.

There is one group of legendary bandyplayers that meets during the summer in Karlstad, Sweden. They met for the 30th time this summer in the Golden Teams annual golf competition.
Boltic from Karlstad in Sweden was a dominating force in the Swedish and international club bandy from the 1970s to the late 1980s.
The men’s team won seven straight Swedish Championship titles between 1979 and 1985, as well as further titles in 1988 and 1995, in total nine Swedish Championship victories. During that time the club also won several World Cup and European Cup titles. The women’s team was also successful and won six national titles in the 1980s.
And now the club from Karlstad is back in the Swedish “Elitserien” after many years on a lower stage. Will there be another golden era? We know nothing about that yet.

Two of the biggest Boltic legends, Per Togner and Berndt “Bempa” Ericsson.
