2003 WORLD CUP CLUB TEAMS MEN

The tournament continued in Ljusdal and the Russian team Vodnik won the World Cup. The final was very even and Vodnik beat Sandvikens AIK with only one goal ahead. The result was 4-3 after a 3-1 lead at half time for Vodnik.
Vodnik, Sandviken, Kuzbass and Hammarby won one group each in i the Preliminary Round. There was a pure Russian game in the first semifinal when Vodnik beat Kuzbass 3-2. The other semifinal was a fight between Edsbyn and Sandviken. SAIK won it with 4 goals to 1.
There were 2 final players that scored to goals for the teams, Magnus Muhrén in Sandviken and Alexander Tjukavin in Vodnik. The other final scorer were Patrik Spångberg in Sandviken and Pavel Franz and Michael Carlsson for Vodnik.
