2007 ExTe WORLD CUP CLUB TEAMS MEN

Ljusdal, Sweden, 25-28 October

Ljusdal in Sweden was as usual the place for World Cup for men. This time the tournament was sponsored by the company ExTe. Russian Dynamo Moscow defended the title from last year when they beat Swedish Edsbyns IF 5-0 in the final game. The two best teams from group A, B and C went to the quarter finals together with the group winners from group D and E. The winners received gold medals.

Dynamo Moscow beat Stabæk 13-0, a draw with Västerås SK 2-2 and a victory 5-1 against Bollnäs GIF in the Round Robin. In the quarter final Dynamo met Vodnik and won 9-0. In the semi final Dynamo defeted Zorkij 4-3.

Edsbyns IF beat Tornio 9-3, Vetlanda BK 7-2 and Rodina Kirov 6-2 in the Round Robin games. In the quarter final Edsbyn played against Brobergs IF and won 6-2. The semi final was an exciting game against Uralsky Trubnik that ended 2-2. Edsbyn won the penalty shootout and moved to the final.
