Mikhail Pashkin new head coach for Yenisei!

Mikhail Pashkin moves home to Russia and Krasnoyarsk. Mikhail will be head coach for Yenisei. He has been head coach for the Swedish club Hammarby for the last three seasons. This season Hammarby went to semi finals in the Swedish Championship. Yenisei went out already in quarter final against Ural Trubnik in two straight games in the Russian Championship.

Pashkin has signed a contract for one year with Yenisei. This is the second recruitment from Sweden Yenisei makes in a couple of weeks. The other transition to the club was the Swedish top scorer Christoffer Edlund from Sandvikens AIK. Yenisei is like all the other clubs in the middle of their team building ahead of the coming season. The team captain Sergei Lomanov also signed a new contract with the club on April 15.

Mikhail Pashkin has spent the Swedish part of his playing career in Gripen, IFK Vänersborg, Katrineholms SK, Edsbyns IF and Hammarby IF. In Russia he has played in Zorky, Yenisei and Volga. After completing his career as player, he switched to coaching. Under his leadership, the Hammarby team advanced to the semi finals in both 2018 and 2019.

Stefan Karlsson has been offered the job as new head coach in Hammarby. He has been assistant coach the last two seasons.
