The Federation of International Bandy (FIB) Executive Committee approved and published the regulations and timeline of the first-ever election of the FIB Athletes Committee.
The deadline to send nominations is 24 February 2025 and the eligible candidates will be announced on 28 February 2025.
During the 2025 FIB World Championships held in Uppsala and Lidköping, all competing Athletes will have the opportunity to vote for their Athletes representatives.

The five member committee shall include Athletes from both genders and from different countries ensuring the widest representation.
The result of the elections, i.e. the elected members of the FIB Athletes Committee will be announced during the FIB Congress on 29 March 2025 in Lidköping, Sweden.
The members than will elect their Chair who will become a member of the Executive Committee with full rights.
