The World Championship tournament for men group A will be arranged in Sweden and the venue is Sparbanken Lidköping Arena in Lidköping between 25-30 March 2025. The tournament will be held at the same dates and place as the World Championship for Women.

In March, the International Bandy Federation (FIB) made the decision to award Sweden the 2025 Bandy World Championship for women and men. Ingrid Amrén, Chairman of the Swedish Bandy Federation, expresses her joy over the decision:

“It is very gratifying that we now have an agreement with Lidköping Municipality and Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle. We know that the event is in safe hands and together we look forward to welcoming players and spectators. We are also extra happy to be able to celebrate the association’s 100th anniversary in connection with this. It is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the sport of bandy at home and to offer exciting matches for both women and men, says Ingrid Amrén.”
