2010 FIB WORLD CUP WOMEN

Edsbyn, Sweden, 15-17 October

AIK, Sweden, defeated Record Irkutsk, Russia 2-1 in the final and became World Cup champions. 

AIK defeated Moscow 10-1, Tranås 4-0 and Söråker 6-0 in the group stage. In the semifinal AIK played against Helsinfors IFK and it ended in a draw 2-2. AIK won the penalty shootout 3-1 and moved to the final.

Record beat Västerstrand 13-2, Härnösand 8-0 and Östersund 12-1 in the Round Robin and won against Moscow 7-1 in the semi final.

In the bronze game Moscow won against Helsingfors 3-2.
