2006 FIB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WOMEN

Roseville, Minnesota, USA, 14-18 February



The 2006 Women’s World Championship was the second Women’s  Championship. The tournament was played at the John Rose Minnesota Oval.

Sweden won the gold for the second time with Russia in silver and Norway took bronze. This time, Sweden did not go goalless through the tournament. Canada made its World Championship debut. Sweden won the final against Russia 3-1.
