This week we present the 6th member of FIB Hall of Fame, he was elected member into the Hall of Fame earlier in 2026.
Per Gunnar Løken, Norway
Per Gunnar Løken had an active career in Røa IL for many years and he played for the Oslo city team. The first positition in the Norwegian Bandy Federation was as equipment manager for A national team men 1976. He was elected board member in 1981 and vice President from May 1982.
Mr Løken was appointed president in August 1982, due to the death of president B. Nygård. He then was the head of the World Championship tournament for Men in Oslo 1985.
Per Gunnar Løken was awarded the Gold Medal of NBF upon his resignation as president in 1987. After that he attended the Law Committee during 1988-1997 and Election Committee 1989-1997. Finally awarded as Honorary Member of NBF in 2012.
