A NEW E-LEARNING COURSE TO JOIN FOR ATHLETES!
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has launched the 2027 Code Companion for Athletes, a new e-learning course designed to help athletes prepare for the upcoming 2027 World Anti-Doping Code, which will come into effect on 1 January 2027.
The course is now available on WADA’s Anti-Doping Education and Learning (ADEL) platform and is intended to support Anti-Doping Organizations in educating athletes about the key changes introduced in the updated Code and International Standards.
The training covers important topics such as education, testing, Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs), results management, data protection, and investigations. It also explains the purpose of these changes and how they may impact athletes in practice, with the goal of helping athletes better understand their rights and responsibilities and support clean sport.
WADA highlights that its Athlete Council contributed to the development of the course, ensuring that the content remains athlete-focused and accessible to a broad audience.
Athletes are encouraged to complete the course to stay informed and better prepared for the changes coming with the 2027 Code.
