FIB HALL OF FAME – LEGENDS OF BANDY PART 2

Time for highlight no 2 of the current members of FIB Hall of Fame inducted 2025 and 2026.

Bob Kojetin, USA

Mr. Kojetin is the father of the US Bandy. He built the first bandy rink at Lewis Park in Edina, Minnesota in 1979 and started the first US league in 1980.

Then he had taken the steps to expand the sport beyond the 4 bandy countries of Sweden, Finland, Norway and Russia. He helped spreading the bandy to countries like Canada, Holland and Hungary.

He was the first inductee into the US Bandy Hall of Fame in 2014. Bob Kojetin did not do service in FIB, but the way he developed bandy, he deserves his place in FIB Hall of Fame, the place he was assigned in 2025.
