FIB GENERAL SECRETARY MEETS THE RUSSIAN MEMBER ASSOCIATION
Attila Adamfi, General Secretary of the Federation of International Bandy (FIB) held a first official meeting with Evgeniy Ivanushkin, First Vice President of the Russian Bandy Federation (RBF) in Batumi, Georgia. The meeting marked an important step toward renewed dialogue and cooperation between the two organizations.

Held in a highly positive, effective, and constructive atmosphere, the meeting represented the first personal engagement between the parties. Both sides emphasized the importance of open communication and mutual understanding in addressing current challenges and opportunities within the sport.
Following the recent recommendation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to allow youth teams to participate without restrictions, FIB and RBF agreed to initiate a constructive dialogue focused on facilitating such participation. The discussions resulted in a shared understanding of the pathway forward, including key timelines for implementation.
In addition to youth team participation, the parties explored broader opportunities for collaboration aimed at strengthening and developing bandy globally. Both organizations expressed their commitment to continued engagement and joint efforts to promote the sport at all levels.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to maintain regular communication and to work collaboratively toward the agreed objectives.
