FIB AT THE INTERNATIONAL SPORT FOR ALL CONGRESS

The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) – an organisation recognised by the IOC – convened its Electoral General Assembly and Congress on 24th of January 2026 in Civitanova Marche, Italy, bringing together representatives from across the global Sport for All movement.
During the Assembly, delegates approved a new Statutes designed to further align the Federation with the principles of the Olympic Movement. The revised statutes reinforce the Federation’s commitment to good governance, transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership, strengthening its role within the international sports community.
The Assembly also elected the new Executive Board for the upcoming mandate, including the President Isa Mohammed Abdulrahim, Mohammed Alrafaei (BRN) and CEO/General Secretary: Marco Tomasini (ITA).

FIB General Secretary Attila Adamfi was elected as member of the Executive Council, as well as Anita Pariani, President of Italian Bandy Federation.
Following the Electoral GA, wide range of topics were addressed at the Congress by experts representing different stakeholders (International Federations, National Sports for All organisations and other Associations) from the Olympic and wider Sport for All movement as follows:
  • The example of Flying Disc as a Sport for all Tool: Dodge Disc
  • A focus on Bandy and its new discipline: Short Bandy
  • Traditional Sports and Games and its importance in the grass roots and intergeneration activities
  • Sport for All in challenging contexts: Multi-Sport Approaches and Community Impact
  • The importance of the Music Sports: the Italian Example
The outcomes of the General Assembly and Congress mark an important step forward for the International Sport for All Federation, reaffirming its mission to promote inclusive, accessible, and sustainable physical activity and sport worldwide.

MEETING WITH THE ITALIAN BANDY FEDERATION

Attila Adamfi also met the Italian Bandy Federation (IBF) President Anita Pariani and General Secretary Filippo Maria Capatti and discussed the development opportunities.
The IBF outlined their development plans focusing on Short Bandy in northern Italy that FIB will support with bandy equipment, sticks and balls.
