FIB signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Fair Play Committee!
The Federation of International Bandy (FIB) and the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in Budapest, Hungary. The MoU which aims to promote fair play in the sport of bandy at all levels, was signed between FIB Vice President and Acting General Secretary, Attila Adamfi and CIFP President, Dr. Jenő Kamuti.
The MoU will see the two Olympic Recognized Organization cooperating in the field of sport, fair play and solidarity.
Dr Jenő Kamuti:
-The promotion of the values of Fair Play is extremely important to the International Fair Play Committee and therefore we are gracious to see FIB and the sport of Bandy as a new partner in our mission.
-Dr Albert Szent-Györgyi, Hungarian biochemist and Nobel Prize winner known for first isolating Vitamin C believed, sport itself teaches people the rules of fair play. I truly believe in this statement, and I am happy that more and more sports join in the promotion of our beliefs. Dr Kamuti continued.
Mr Attila Adamfi:
-We are honored to have signed this agreement with CIFP and we are keen to work together with the Fair Play Committee on promoting and upholding their values and mission across all of our activities and championships.
-This agreement represents a step forward to provide level playing field for all of our members and our athletes in terms of solidarity and fair play and the development of the sport and our international relations.
