600 balls for 50 games in the World Championships!

Now the World Championships 2023 have started with the men’s B group Round Robin games. A total of 50 matches will be played in Eriksson Arena in Åby outside Växjö in Sweden during a little more than one week. On Sunday, April 2 the final games are played in both women’s tournament and men A-group tournament..

The matches in the World Championship require balls that are the very best in the world. The balls for the tournaments are supplied, like all major international tournaments, by one of FIB’s most important sponsors. CCM is the leading company of sports equipment and balls among many other products.

CCM has delivered 600 balls to the tournaments in Eriksson Arena. What made the CCM ball the best in the world is that it is made of the best technology and handicraft. A good bandy ball must roll evenly across the ice and have a smooth movement in the air and of course it has to be clearly visible in daylight as well as in electric lighting.

Other manufacturers have not reached the same quality so only the best is good enough for the FIB and World Championship – the ball from CCM!
