SKA NEFTYANIK DOUBLE CUP CHAMPION IN RUSSIA!

SKA Neftyanik is the big cup-winning team in Russia this autumn. First the team won the Cup of Russia in September. The play offs were played in the Erofey Arena in Khabarovsk in mid-September. SKA Neftyaniks victory was the eighth in the cup. SKA Neftyanik won it’s second cup title on October 22 when Super Cup of Russia was decided with the final game. The Khabarovsk team succeeded again in the final against Dynamo Moscow.


THE RUSSIAN CUP IN SEPTEMBER

SKA Neftyanik won the final game against Yenisei 10-5 (4-2).

The eight teams Ak Bars-Dynamo (Kazan), Baikal Energy (Irkutsk), SKA Neftyanik (Khabarovsk), Volga (Ulyanovsk), Dynamo Moscow, Yenisei (Krasnoyarsk), Vodnik (Arkhangelsk) and Kuzbass (Kemerovo) advanced to the quarterfinals.

The semifinal games were SKA Neftyanik-Baikal Energy and Yenisei-Vodnik.

RUSSIAN SUPER CUP OCTOBER 22

The final game was played in Khabarovsk between Dynamo Moscow and SKA Neftyanik. The game was dramatic and extremely even and was seen by a total of 8927 enthusiastic spectators in Erofey Arena. The final had a very unusual ending when the game was decided by two penalty strokes for SKA Neftyanik in the last 7 minutes of the game.
