Broberg is the most successful team so far in the day-and-night cup in Ljusdal. This year, 1978, the team won its third victory by beating home team Ljusdal 4-1 in the final and 2-0 at halftime.
This was also a unique tournament as the four teams from the home territory of Hälsingland; Broberg, Bollnäs, Ljusdal and Edsbyn advanced to the semifinals. That had never happened before in the history of World Cup.
